Jordan Credit Center Attendance Policy and Engagement

Course Structure

Our courses are designed to be asynchronous, which means that you can start your coursework immediately upon enrollment. Your progress is based on your individual enrollment date. Please note that our program does not follow the Jordan District academic quarters—our schedule operates independently. Each quarter of work at the Jordan Credit Center is designed to be completed in approximately 9 weeks from your enrollment date, regardless of the Jordan District academic calendar. This flexible format allows you to work at your own pace, completing assignments and engaging with course materials on a schedule that suits your needs.

Attendance Policy

To ensure your success in our courses, we have established an attendance policy that requires regular engagement and progress. Here are the key elements of our attendance policy:

  • You have 9 weeks to complete each quarter of your course from the date of enrollment.
  • Attendance is measured by your logins to the course platform.
  • To be considered actively engaged, you should log in to the course platform and complete at least one assignment per week.
  • It is essential to make continual progress throughout the course, as simply meeting the minimum expectations will not be enough to complete the course successfully within the 9 week term.
  • If you need more time to complete your course or require additional support, please communicate with your academic coach by scheduling an appointment using the link in your orientation module. They are here to help you succeed.

Importance of Regular Engagement

Please note that failing to meet the attendance requirements may result in removal from the course after 20 school days of inactivity. It is crucial to stay engaged and make consistent progress to avoid this outcome.

We are committed to supporting your academic success and look forward to helping you achieve your goals. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your academic coach or our support team.
